National Designated Authority
Belize’s National Designated Authority (NDA) to the GCF is Ag. CEO Carlos Pol at the MED. The MED was assigned the NDA role by the Government of Belize, through a Cabinet decision, in June 2015.
Policy & Planning Unit
To be a proactive Ministry that provides visionary leadership to effectively advise on and coordinate development initiatives in order to improve the overall well-being of Belizeans.
National Authorizing Office
Advise on national and sectoral policies and plans as well as prepare and facilitate national development plans amongst other functions.
Projects
The Ministry of Economic Development and Investment is currently implemening the Road Safety Project, Belize Integral Security Project & the Resilient Rural Belize Project.
