NOTICE FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) EXTENSION OF DEADLINE
RFP No. RFP/SFD/795/1/01: Tertiary Hospital in the Belmopan Area Project
Consultancy Service for the Design and Supervision of the Construction of a Tertiary Hospital in the City of Belmopan, Cayo District, Belize C.A.
The Government of Belize (GoBz), hereinafter called “the Client”, has received financing from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) for the construction of a 150-bed Tertiary Hospital in the Belmopan Area, and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds to eligible payments under a contract for which this invitation is issued. Payments by GoBz, and will be subject in all respects to the terms and conditions of the Financing Agreement. The Financing Agreement prohibits withdrawal from the financing account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of SFD, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than the Client shall derive any rights from the Financing Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Financing.
